Celebrating 40 Years of Bendpro: A Whale of a Time in Hervey Bay

This year marks a huge milestone for Bendpro – 40 years of business, growth, and innovation! To celebrate this incredible achievement, we wanted to do something special for our hardworking team, so we set sail for an unforgettable experience: a whale-watching cruise in Hervey Bay!

Our team spent the day aboard Freedom 3, a whale-watching boat crewed by the wonderful team from Freedom Whale Watch & Charters. We were guided by Captain Mark, and lead skipper Toni. The team enjoyed incredible views, up-close whale encounters, and a relaxing day away from the usual hustle and bustle of the factory.

Whale watching was the perfect way to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The majestic humpback whales of Hervey Bay put on a show that left us in awe of nature’s beauty and power. We witnessed playful breaches, tail slaps, and even a few curious whales swimming right alongside the boat. The experience was a reminder of how important it is to take a step back and appreciate not just our achievements but the world around us.

It’s been an amazing 40 years at Bendpro, and none of it would be possible without the dedication and commitment of our incredible team.
